What to Expect at Your First Visit

Our first visit is designed to understand you — not just your symptoms. We take the time to listen carefully, evaluate thoroughly, and provide clear answers so you feel informed and confident about your care.

Your initial appointment includes:

  • A consultation and detailed health history
  • A focused evaluation of the spine and nervous system
  • A clear explanation of our findings
  • Personalized care recommendations based on your goals

If care is appropriate, we begin a plan centered on restoring proper function, improving movement, and supporting long-term wellness — not simply temporary relief.

As progress is made, many patients choose to continue with wellness care. This proactive approach helps the body stay balanced, resilient, and better prepared for life’s physical and emotional stresses.

What Makes Our Approach Different

Our focus is not simply on relieving symptoms, but on understanding why those symptoms developed in the first place. The spine and nervous system play a central role in how the body functions, adapts, and heals. When communication between the brain and body is disrupted, compensation patterns can develop — often long before pain appears.

Rather than chasing pain from visit to visit, we work to restore proper function. By improving spinal alignment and nervous system balance, we aim to help your body move more efficiently, adapt to stress more effectively, and maintain lasting health.

Our goal is clarity, precision, and care that supports your body’s natural ability to heal.

What to Wear & What to Bring

To make your visit smooth and comfortable:

• Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement, as movement is a big part of the Applied Kinesiology examination
• Bring any relevant imaging or test (X-rays, MRI reports, Blood Work) if available
• Bring a list of current medications or supplements
• Arrive 10 minutes early for appointments
• If new patient forms are not completed online, please arrive 30 minutes early

Arriving prepared allows us to spend more time focusing on you and less time on paperwork.

Payment & Insurance Information

We strive to keep payment simple and transparent.

For patients who prefer a straightforward approach, we offer clear cash payment options that many find convenient and flexible.

We also accept HSA and FSA cards, and we work with Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) insurance claims when applicable.

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements are made. If you have any questions about payment options or coverage, our office is happy to provide clarity before your visit so you can feel comfortable and prepared.

Transition to Wellness Care

As your body begins to respond and function improves, many patients choose to continue with wellness-based care. Wellness care is not about treating symptoms — it is about maintaining balance and supporting the body’s ability to adapt to daily physical and emotional stress.

Just as exercise and nutrition contribute to long-term health, regular chiropractic care can help preserve spinal function and nervous system integrity. This proactive approach allows many patients to feel more resilient, mobile, and energized over time.

The decision to continue into wellness care is always yours. Our role is to educate, guide, and support you in making the choice that aligns with your goals.
