About Dr. Michael Fox

Hello! I’m Dr. Michael Fox, chiropractor at Integrated Life Chiropractic.

My relationship with chiropractic started early—I began seeing a chiropractor when I was just two years old. What started as a childhood experience eventually grew into a lifelong calling.

Most people walk into a chiropractor’s office because of neck or back pain, and that’s often where care begins. But chiropractic care reaches far beyond the muscles and joints. If you spend enough time in a chiropractic waiting room, you’ll hear stories from people who came in for one problem and noticed improvements in many areas of their health. That’s because chiropractic care is focused on the function of the nervous system, which influences the entire body.

Chiropractors are primarily concerned with the spine, which consists of 24 movable bones and 31 pairs of spinal nerves. These nerves allow the brain to communicate with every organ, gland, and system in the body. They help regulate the chemistry that wakes you up in the morning, helps you fall asleep at night, signals hunger and fullness, and plays a role in how your body adapts to the stresses of daily life.

When spinal joints lose proper movement or alignment, nerve communication can be affected. Chiropractic care works to restore healthy motion and balance so the body can do what it was designed to do—heal, regulate, and function at its best.

Spinal manipulation has been practiced for thousands of years, dating back to ancient Chinese, Egyptian, Greek, and Roman cultures. While our understanding of the body has evolved, the principle remains the same: support the body so it can function the way it was designed.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Indiana University and my Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, the birthplace of chiropractic, where I studied its art, science, and philosophy.

In practice, I believe care should never feel rushed. I take the time to look with eyes that see, listen with ears that hear, and touch with hands that truly feel. Each visit is thoughtful, collaborative, and focused on helping your body move, function, and adapt better over time.

I look forward to meeting you.
